Installation Engineer – IP-based Security Technology (Hoylake, Wirral)
We are looking for an experienced Installation Engineer to join our systems integration team.
If you have a proven track record of installing CCTV, Access Control and/or Intruder Alarm systems, this is a brilliant opportunity to develop your career with us.

As an Installation Engineer, you will be responsible for completing security system installations as well as carrying out maintenance visits and emergency call outs.
Working as part of our highly experienced technical / engineering team, you will carry out site surveys, provide input for system designs and ensure that all installations are completed to a high quality standard. Being hands-on, you’ll manage the physical cabling and mounting of equipment, as well as testing the correct working of a system.
As part of your role, you will be required to undertake occasional overnight stays throughout the UK so a flexible approach to travel is essential.
In this role you will receive support from others in the team and have the opportunity to learn a lot in the fast-growing field of IP Video Technology.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience of CCTV, Access Control and/or Intruder Alarm system installations
- Experience of installing cable indoors and outdoors, as well as using hand tools and mounting equipment to different wall materials and structures
- A keen interest in IT and/or networking and good computer skills
- Excellent awareness of health and safety standards
- A full driving licence
You must have great problem-solving abilities and strong on-site customer management skills. Great interpersonal skills, a team player mentality, an honest disposition and exceptionally high standards are all key.
As part of the recruitment process, candidates will be required to undertake a DBS (formerly CRB) check. Security screening will also be required.
