We are particularly interested in quality-driven individuals with four years or more of relevant experience, either from a CCTV / security, data communications or electrical background.
Offering an enjoyable working environment, we will provide a structured development plan, building on your strengths, to develop your career to the next level.
As an Installation Engineer, you will be part of a highly experienced technical and engineering team responsible for security system installations as well as carrying out maintenance visits and emergency call outs.
Taking a hands-on approach, you’ll be involved with work preparation, the physical cabling and mounting of CCTV and other security system equipment, as well as testing the correct working of a system and sign off.
Although the vast majority of work will be North West-based, as part of your role you will be required to undertake occasional overnight stays throughout the UK, so a flexible approach to travel is essential.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- Experience of equipment installation indoors and outdoors, data cabling using containment as well as using hand tools and mounting equipment to different wall materials and structures
- A keen interest in IT and/or networking and good computer skills
- Excellent awareness of health and safety standards
- A full driving licence
As an Installation Engineer, you must have great problem-solving abilities and strong on-site customer management skills. Great interpersonal skills, a team player mentality, an honest disposition and exceptionally high standards are all key.
As part of the recruitment process, you will be required to undertake a DBS (formerly CRB) check. Security screening will also be required.
