We are pleased to inform our customers that our key technology partner Axis Communications has increased the warranty period on their IP video products from 3 to 5 years. The new 5 year warranty period was launched on 1st October 2020.
For our Axis customers, the benefit is that Axis network camera products bought after 1st April 2020 will fall within the new warranty provision. In combination with our maintenance and support provision, the extended Axis warranty period will provide additional trouble-free, cost-efficient ownership and investment protection.
As a well-established Axis Solution Gold Partner, we welcome this news, which will further cement Axis’ leading position in the CCTV market and provide our customers with additional peace of mind.
Which Axis purchases are covered?
The new five-year warranty regime is applicable to products shipped by Axis Communications from 1st April 2020. However, the five year warranty period will not commence until after 6 months from when it was shipped by Axis to its original buyer. This six month period allows for the product to channel through the supply chain until it is installed at an end user’s site.
