Aberdeenshire Council increases tourism cameras

In 2008, Aberdeenshire Council commissioned NW to install a web camera overlooking the picturesque harbour of Stonehaven. Shortly after, this was followed by another Axis pan-tilt-zoom camera located in Banff, providing beautiful views of the harbour there.

The two cameras proved popular with visitor numbers growing steadily over time. Following this success, the Council decided to have two more public cameras installed in the villages of Fraserburgh and Peterhead with a total now of four cameras providing live views from around Aberdeenshire.

The cameras are hosted using NW’s Streamdays managed service and can be viewed from the Aberdeenshire Council webcams page.
