Over the years we have created a talented group of people. Through hands-on experience, continuous training and our dedicated focus on IP-based systems we have in our midst some of the best people within our industry.

Robert Kilgour – Non-executive Director (co-founder)

Robert KilgourRobert is a successful Scottish entrepreneur living in London with involvement in the IP video market since 1999. Amongst many other activities and interests, Robert has served on the CBI Scottish Council, CBI UK SME Council and the Scottish Growing Business Forum. He is a member of the Entrepreneurial Exchange, Institute of Directors, Association of Project Managers and he is a Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute. Robert was Chairman of the Fife Macmillan Cancer Project (1993-95), a public appeal which raised £1.75M towards improving hospice provision in Fife in Scotland and donated £50,000 to help establish a Macmillan Cancer Information Centre at a London hospital to mark his 50th birthday.

Frank Crouwel – Managing Director (co-founder)

Frank CrouwelOriginally from a legal background, Frank has been involved with the CCTV industry since 1999. Having worked in senior positions at CCTV hardware manufacturer Charles Grant and then at early IP video innovator Evolve, Frank co-founded NW Systems Group in 2004. Frank has driven the company’s continued growth and profitability and is broadly skilled in the area of IP-based video and security systems. Within NW Systems Frank’s main focus is on the company’s strategic direction, developing strategic partnerships, key account supervision, marketing planning and supporting the company’s management team, ensuring that the company maintains its strong values and keeps delivering high standards throughout.

Kevin Bowyer – Technical Director (co-founder)

Kevin BowyerKevin has built-up hands-on experience with IP video implementations and application development dating back to 1999. He started working in the Internet industry in 1997 as a senior designer for Scoot UK. Moving into IP video in 1999, as Web Director at Evolve, Kevin spearheaded the technical development and delivery of the company’s professional IP video product range, including video streaming and hosted video services. Together with Robert and Frank, Kevin founded the now NW Systems Group in 2004 and has been instrumental for the technical development of the company. Over the years, Kevin has built up a huge amount of experience and knowledge of IP video, camera technologies and hosted video solutions.

Dionne Sloan – Head of Accounts

Dionne SloanDionne joined NW Systems in 2007 as accounts administrator and has been instrumental in establishing a rigorous accounting system within the company. Having significantly contributed to the well-managed growth and internationalisation of NW Systems, Dionne was appointed Head of Accounts in 2012. Dionne is responsible for supervising the accounts team and the day-to-day financial accounting as well as delivering monthly management reports and periodic financial forecasting and budgeting.


Keith Bardsley – Systems Sales Manager

Keith BardsleyKeith joined the company in 2013 as Systems Sales Manager and brings over 15 years of sales and business development experience to the company. Keith has worked in various areas within the security industry and has gained extensive knowledge from working on large projects for a multitude of customers. Well-established within the industry, Keith has the connections required to bring together the people needed to deliver complex projects successfully.

As Systems Sales Manager, Keith is responsible for driving forward the systems installation and integration part of the business nationwide.

Ian Rigby – Internal Sales Manager

Ian RigbyAfter completing A-Levels in ICT and Media Studies in 2005, Ian joined BT as an LLU Service Professional processing orders for BT’s customers such as Sky and Opal Telecom. The position enhanced Ian’s understanding of networking principles and managing customer expectations.

Ian joined NW Systems Group in 2007 as a Technical Sales Assistant in which role he excelled as a customer-focused, service driven professional with wide ranging technical product knowledge. During this short space of time Ian’s talents made him a key executive within the sales team and he was promoted to Internal Sales Manager in September 2010. Ian has been responsible for the success of Network Webcams since.


Greg Innes – Technical Manager

Greg InnesSelf-confessed geek, Greg has an affinity with everything IT. Graduated in 2003 with a BSc in Multimedia Greg’s wide range of skills soon got him involved with local new media businesses, television production companies and IT projects for clients such as Channel 4, Ikea and John Lewis.

Greg joined NW Systems Group in 2006 where his broad skill set has been instrumental in the company’s growth. With years of accumulated experience in IP video Greg has developed into the technical lead of NW’s systems integration arm. As Technical Manager he is responsible for managing the engineering and technical teams and ensuring that our implementation, support and maintenance services are delivered to the high standards required.

Luke Oliver – Projects Manager

Luke OliverAfter graduating with a BA (Hons) in Business and Economics, Luke gained IT projects experience working in the petrochemical industry with companies including Shell and BP.

Working within an Agile project management framework, Luke honed his planning and problem solving skills in a fast paced and high standards environment. He joined NW Systems Group in 2015 as Projects Manager, acting as a vital conduit between customers and members of our technical and installation teams. Drawing upon valuable project experience, Luke is responsible for co-ordinating the installation and maintenance of a wide variety of IP-based video and security projects.


Paul Sandford – Digital Marketing Manager

Paul Sandford - Digital Marketing ManagerPrior to gaining digital marketing experience at a firm of solicitors, Paul had built up a diverse range of skills with a technical background in software, web development and information security.

With experience in IT since 1987, Paul has worked with internet based technology from its inception and has an aptitude for all things digital. Paul joined NW Systems Group in 2015 as Digital Marketing Executive and his varied skill set and quick grasp of IP video technology soon led to promotion as Digital Marketing Manager. He is now responsible for helping to shape and implement NW’s marketing strategy.
