Waste recycling company Recresco used our installation and commissioning services to improve the security of their waste recycling plant in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire.
The large site was fitted with four high-performance network cameras, including pan-tilt-zoom domes featuring 35x optical zoom for capturing detailed images of vehicles and people entering the site at distances of up 150 metres.
The Milestone based system is managed by Recresco's IT department with our back up support and annual maintenance provision.

Border Collie Trust, a Rugeley based charitable organisation for rescuing and re-homing collies across the UK, required a video security system for supervising an un-manned reception area and monitoring animal welfare.
NW were asked to provide an affordable solution to meet the charity's needs and specified a Y-cam network-based camera system. Four Y-cam wireless cameras with infrared night-vision were installed using existing computer infrastructure, keeping any cabling and hardwire requirements to a minimum whilst providing a 24/7 monitoring facility that does not need any lighting, and therefore does not impact on the animals night rest.
With cameras installed in the boarding kennel also, owners can see their dogs via the Internet or mobile whilst they are away.
Such was the success of the initial 4 camera installation that the charity decided to extend video coverage by another 5 cameras.

Advertising and creative communication company Newhaven Agency in Edinburgh deployed NW for the installation of four networked, high-res cameras for CCTV monitoring of unmanned building entrances and the car park.
The cameras are viewed via the agency's local area network and the system is also linked to neighbouring company Line Marketing, who share the same building. Between the two firms, a number of staff are appointed to keep an eye on the public spaces inside and outside the building with key holders also having access remotely outside of working hours.

Henderson Travel, a family run business services company, required CCTV for their bus terminal in Hamilton, near Glasgow.
NW installed a mixture of Axis and Mobotix IP cameras on a Milestone recording server, covering the main risk areas within the terminal, all easily accessible on Henderson's computer network and remotely via the Internet, providing 24/7 security monitoring.
Over the last three years Henderson has been expanding their security system to eight cameras, simply by adding one or two Axis IP cameras a year, taking benefit of the easy scalability network CCTV video offers.

The Medway Queen Preservation Society owns the steam boat 'Medway Queen' with the aim to one day operate the ship and make it accessible to the public. The society was established 25 years ago with the aim to restore the ship and make it operable again.
As the lengthy restoration process is of great historic interest the society approached NW Security asking for a solution to create a visual archive of the build with the requirement of a high quality time lapse film to be produced at the end of the restoration.
NW Security recommended the use of a high resolution Mobotix IP camera system in combination with NW's Streamdays camera hosting platform for archiving the images and making the camera live on the web. The system was enthusiastically welcomed by the society's members who can access and follow the project via the Internet.
