Press release: Innovative transport-on-demand service provider Cabfind deploys NW Systems IP access control and surveillance security system

Wirral-based IP video specialist NW Systems has installed one of the UK’s first fully integrated IP video and access control systems to help fast-growing transport-on-demand service provider Cabfind, secure its new headquarters in Birkenhead in Wirral.

NW Systems recently installed a pure IP-based, fully integrated access control and video surveillance system to cover both the inside and outside of Cabfind’s new headquarters in Birkenhead, Wirral.

The new system combines Axis IP cameras and door controllers with Imron access control software and Milestone front-end video management software (VMS), to ensure entries via all key doors are covered and video recordings collected for viewing on authorised desktops and smart devices.

Press release: NW Systems expands Streamdays following Finetra deal

NW Systems Group‘s web camera hosting and streaming service, Streamdays, received a significant boost this week after concluding a deal with Finetra to take over its entire camera streaming customer base. Streamdays provides managed video streaming for web domains of hotels, surf centres, golf courses, as well as other tourist hotspots and leisure activity centres.

The deal means that Finetra‘s customers will receive an enhanced HD streaming service designed to maximise camera uptime. NW‘s Streamdays service is suitable for use with all types of IP cameras with RTSP support. Because NW Systems also runs its own security systems integration business it can advise on specification and configuration of camera models based on what the camera stream is displaying.

Press release: NW Systems partners with Kentima to exploit opportunities for IP video integration with building management systems and manufacturing plants in the UK

NW Systems Group has partnered with Swedish integrated solutions provider Kentima, as both companies eye up the opportunities for integration of IP video with Building Management Systems (BMS) and the wider deployment of video monitoring systems in manufacturing and processing plants in the UK.

NW Systems has been deploying IP video monitoring systems in UK factories, processing plants, logistical centres, office buildings and schools for some years. It has been looking for a specialist open platform software provider with domain expertise to partner with and to help expand its offering in the BMS and industrial automation sectors.

Kentima offers highly visual solutions based on HMI/SCADA (Human Machine Interface/Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) and a powerful interoperability standard called OPC, which together enables rapid and inexpensive inter-connectivity between systems even if they are using non-IP based communications protocols.

A North Yorkshire farm has installed the latest in IP video technology to enable anyone to watch new lamb arrivals this spring.Mainsgill Farm 'Lamb Cam'

Mainsgill Farm in Richmond has fitted an AXIS P5534 PTZ Dome Network Camera to overlook the barn and the pens in which the sheep are giving birth, in order to allow visitors to the farm and its website the unique opportunity to see the lambs being born. As well as the latest Axis cameras, the internet video feed uses ‘Streamdays‘, an open platform hosting solution for converting an IP camera into a streaming webcam, from NW Systems Group.

Press release: NW Systems Group forms partnership with NUUO for sales of its open platform NVRs

Frank Crouwel of NWSG and Paul Jones of NUUOThe IP video security specialist NW Systems has formed a partnership with Taiwan-based NUUO, as the Network Video Recorder (NVR) manufacturer and surveillance video management software provider continues its rapid global expansion.

NW Systems will offer NUUO‘s whole range of open platform network video recorders with free helpdesk support to UK & European customers from March 2014 via Networkwebcams.co.uk. NW Systems will also provide NUUO NVR system installation, configuration and commissioning services from next month.

NUUO has already grown very successfully through strong penetration of the video surveillance market in US, Asia-Pacific and South Africa.  It launched into the UK two years ago. Successful sales growth here has enabled NUUO to make additional investments to boost its local support and channel management capability.

Press release: NW Systems pilot proves that solar and wind-powered surveillance is now a real choice for construction companies

NW Systems Group, the security solutions provider, has installed a high definition surveillance camera powered by solar and wind energy to help monitor the construction of the new Mearns Academy Community Campus in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. Construction at the site, led by Lend Lease, began in August 2012 and will be completed in June 2014.

Press release: NW Systems brings VSaaS player Cameramanager.com to the UK

NW Systems Group has been selected by Netherlands-based Video Surveillance as a Service (VSaaS) innovator Cameramanager.com to be its launching partner for the UK online sales. From 3rd June 2013 Cameramanager.com services will be available for purchase from Networkwebcams.co.uk. NW Security, the UK-based group‘s integration arm, will also offer to install any Panasonic or Axis cameras that are required by UK Small and Medium-sized Businesses (SMBs) which will be targeted with the monthly subscription-based video surveillance service.

Cameramanager.com, which was purchased by Dutch telecoms group Detron Corporation in 2007, has grown rapidly and is serving over 50,000 camera connections. The organization is currently active in the Netherlands, Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Poland, Switzerland, Brazil, Latvia, Russia and Turkey.
