Mobotix-based system expansion for Dallam School
With an existing installation using Mobotix IP cameras already in place, Dallam School decided to expand their security system for further monitoring of its premises. With staff, pupils, school equipment and vehicles to protect, the school wanted to monitor more of its premises. They comissioned NW Security, our installations division to carry out the necessary work.
Having already had Mobotix IP cameras installed the School were keen for Mobotix to be used again.
The cameras chosen were vandal-proof with an IP66-rated weatherproof case including a monochrome sensor which allows the cameras to record clear footage, even in low light conditions. Infrared illuminators were also installed to allow monitoring in complete darkness. A secure recording and playback platform was installed, necessary to pinpoint security issues after an event takes place. Each camera’s built in microphone and speaker also allowed for two-way communication to be used as an effective deterrent or to sound warnings or alarms.
Alongside the install we also gave the school a system health check, optimised their existing security software and fixed faults with the IP cameras already on site.
NW Security is NW Systems Group’s network-based CCTV installation division.
Dallam School is an international state boarding school and international language college.
